Today we started filming the various 'interview' portions of the reality series "The Second Act." For the past six months cameras have been following us around as we continue to live our dreams together and apart, he as a comedian, I as an author, and performing together.
Today we talked about our beginnings, when we first knew what we had longed to do as careers began to percolate in our brains and the paths we have taken to make it a reality.
Talking about how we met was the fun part; the soul searching and retrospect surrounding the idea of what we now do for a living is profound, to say the least. No one has ever asked us to take out our ambitions and hold them in our hands for a while for all to see. Its like being naked.

This summer the cameras will be rolling at the Sixth Annual Red Neck Luau here at the lake, my booksignings in Virginia, Colorado, Wisconsin, Florida and others to be determined. Steve will be performing all over the
The series should be done filming at the of Christmas and the release of my next book "Stories From the Lake." If anyone takes anything away from viewing it, I hope they realize how easy it is to realise your dreams, to do what makes you happy and not to wait too long to make it happen.
