Grabbing the attention of any publisher is a daunting task, to say the least, so it is not without hesitation that I approached my current publisher with a request to release my third book "Stories From the Lake: A Compilation." It is based upon my columns written on this blog and also published in various newspapers and websites.

"Why don't we wait and see how sales go for the G&B Stories" they responded. Now, don't get me wrong - I LOVE this publishing company. But I have just about exhausted any leads within this area, even traveling to New York City and Brooklyn, NY to host successful book signing events.
My friends are tired of receiving recycled emails announcing another book signing which is really for the same books written years ago.
I realized I have to do what my husband the comedian decided last year about this time.
If you want to get your face out there, you have to put yourSELF out there.
That means going on the road.

My next book signing will not be in Brooklyn, or Long Island or even Upstate New York.
Barnes & Noble and Borders Books have always been good to me. They are welcoming me to their towns with open arms and lots of pre-ordered books. I appreciate their faith in me.
So I'm packing up my manuscripts (a writer never really stops writing, no matter where they are) calling up my frequent flyer miles, making arrangements with Grandma's Boarding Kennel and I'm going on the road.

Below is a list of my current stops. Please feel free to email me your town if you would like a visit.
I have three more books I would like to have published. Lord knows where this might lead.
