A WRITING WEEKEND

Whenever he goes out of town to work, it means I work, too.

Minimizing the distractions, I will only allow interruption to tend to the boys, watch the sunrise, and eat.

No email, no Facebook or any of the other various time suckers that steal precious hours away from me and the manuscripts begging to be completed.

The characters in my head have been calling me, longing for their existence to be justified, and to rescue them from whatever mess I put them in.

It's difficult when there are all these people from four different novels bumping into each other.

Actually, I think they miss me.

And I miss them.

See you Monday.
