Did you know there is a website called http://www.bored.com/ ?? I didn't. But I'm not that bored enough to look it up. If you take a peek at it, let me know what you find.
I am working on a deadline for some articles for the paper, but can't seem to get motivated to finish them. Oh, I know that I will complete them in plenty of time, and the freedom of working on them whenever I want is part of the problem.
Plus, it is 91 degrees right now, pretty impressive for it being 6:00 in the evening.
I think part of the boredom I'm feeling is that I don't have anyone to take care of. For years I had children, and when I got remarried, a husband and three dogs.
Well, the husband is on tour out west in some who-know-where town that has a comedy club, and the kids are all grown up and moving on their own.
In fact, one is packing as I speak to start a new job and a new life with his family in Virginia.
The dogs are passed out having eaten their dinner and alloted portion of snacks. It looks like a flop house for canines around here. One is on the floor under my feet, another is sprawled on his back on the couch and the other is near the front door, looking as if he couldn't make it outside before he got shot. It really is quite comical.
Anyway, this is one of the few blogs that I will write that doesn't really have a direction or a theme.
Except, that I'm bored.
