While sitting on the deck yesterday, we were treated to a surprise.
Our eyes cast towards the shore line, normally we said good night to the ducks and the geese, headed home for the evening after a long day of fishing.
But there it sat, 'waving' to us as we finished our nightly thanksgiving.
A yucca plant in the shape of a cross.
A small gift, but no less in significance.
Upon awakening this morning, we were greeted with another gift, not quite as unexpected, but important.
With 75 people coming to the luau and the lake this weekend, one bathroom just won't cut it.
We're always happy for those small favors.
