WHO'S ON FIRST

So, here I am sitting in the hotel room where we are staying in Aurora, Colorado, a smaller city right outside Denver.

My oldest son is getting married this weekend, and it was the perfect opportunity to mix a little business with pleasure. A book signing at the Arapahoe Crossings Borders Bookstore, it was a perfect time for some of the family members to come and watch me do my thing.

A family reunion of sorts, the groom's father and his family, his siblings (some of which I haven't seen since we were kids ourselves) his ex's, my children and their significant others, and their father (2nd ex also in attendance) my husband and my youngest sister are all going to be there.

Oh, yes, it gets better.

I will draw a grid to explain this wonderfully dysfunctional family tree situation and will post it after the wedding.

But know this - respect is the word of the day, as we all love the groom, the bride and each other - and thats all that matters.

No matter if we need a game card to tell the players, no one keeps score and everybody is a winner.
At the very least, there's a book and a movie here, somewhere.
